There's no native app yet, but Expense Lens is a mobile-responsive web app. Open it in your phone's browser and it works like a native app — add it to your home screen for quick access.

Receipt Scanning & AI
JPG, PNG, and PDF. Snap a photo, screenshot a digital receipt, or upload a bank statement PDF — all work.
It's good — handles most printed and digital receipts without issue. But it's not magic. Handwritten receipts or faded thermal paper can trip it up. You can always edit anything it gets wrong, and your corrections help it learn.
Bulk upload is built in. Drag and drop multiple files and they'll process in the background while you do other things.
Each receipt you upload for AI extraction = one scan. Manual entries (typing in the details yourself) are always free and don't count against your limit.
Privacy & Security
Google Cloud (Firebase). Encrypted in transit with TLS, encrypted at rest on Google's servers. Same infrastructure banks and Fortune 500s use — minus the jargon.

You can still add expenses manually (always free). Your scan count resets at the start of each billing cycle, or you can upgrade your plan anytime.
Cancel from Settings in two clicks. You keep access until your current billing period ends. No cancellation fees, no guilt trips.
Reports & Export
Three types: Monthly Summary (visual overview with charts and breakdowns), Tax Report (business/personal split with multi-currency details), and Travel Report (per-country breakdown with local currencies and exchange rates).
PDF for sharing with your accountant or employer. CSV for importing into Excel, Google Sheets, or accounting software. Both available from any report.
Generate a PDF or CSV report and send it to them directly. There's no shared access or accountant login yet, but it's on the roadmap.
Multi-Currency
When AI scans a receipt, it detects the currency and converts it to your base currency using the exchange rate from the date of that expense — not today's rate. So your February trip to Japan uses February's yen rate.
All major currencies. You set your base currency in Settings, and everything converts automatically. You can click the ↔ icon on any expense to toggle between the original currency and your base.
Account & Settings
Fully. Rename them, pick custom colors, choose icons, set monthly budgets per category. Make it match how you actually think about your spending.
Settings → Delete Account. It permanently removes your account and all your data. There's no undo, so export anything you need first.
